Mountain Med Consulting is offering a new multi-certitifaction course! This course combines Wilderness Medical Associates WFR Recertification with the SRT3 Certification. This course is an immersive, on water, learning experience, blending wilderness first aid with swiftwater rescue techniques. Join us for this one of a kind course, setting the standard for safety in the white water industry!

The combined course will cover essential aspects, including:

  • Wilderness First Responder Recertification (80hr): Reviewing medical protocols, scenario-based learning, and wilderness-specific emergency response techniques. The student will be certified with the WMA ( Wilderness Medical Associates) curriculum. WMA is the most current and cutting-edge curriculum in the industry.

  • Swiftwater Rescue Technician Recertification: Advanced training in swiftwater rescue techniques, river dynamics, and specialized rescue equipment utilization. This certification will be through the ACA.

Who is the ACA? The ACA ( American Canoe Association ) is an internationally recognized organization. Founded in 1880, the ACA has been a leader in providing whitewater safety education. With over 15,000 members in 35 countries, the ACA is one of the most widely recognized whitewater organizations in the world. Please note there will be a 40$ charge to become a ACA member.

Why should I take this course?

  • Cost-effectiveness - A more economical alternative compared to taking your WFR and SRT recertifications separate.

  • Immersive Learning - Hands-on experiences tailored to your environment. Why practice rescue and first aid separately when they go hand in hand?

  • Time Efficiency - Get both certifications in one 5 day course!
