Your First Aid Kit
A well-stocked first aid kit is essential for handling minor injuries and emergencies. Key supplies to include in your kit are listed below. Regularly check your kit to ensure supplies are stocked and within their expiration dates.
Please note:
This list is an example of what to pack for a personal first aid kit. The list isn’t necessarily comprehensive or appropriate for your needs. Using this list doesn’t substitute taking a course or maintaining current certification. For example, if you are heading out on an expedition or water trip, there are likely many more items you should add to your kit.
*The appropriate training and certification needs to be obtained in order to use and/or administer some of the items listed below. Most 80-hour courses cover all of the listed items. However, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with what you’re certified to do and not to do out in the field.
Mountain Med Consulting has no association with the products or companies listed below. They are simply suggestions that fit our needs and/or the products we enjoy using.
